Breathalyzer Test
Have you ever undergone a breathalyzer test? A majority of law enforcement officials around the world are putting them to work in order to detect if a driver has consumed too much alcohol to be behind the wheel of a vehicle. Obviously, a single drunken or impaired driver is capable of causing a catastrophic accident with more than just their own vehicle being damaged, and the laws around drinking and driving should never be resented, or broken.

Interestingly enough, it is not only law enforcement and individuals who are purchasing breathalyzer test devices, but many bars or bartenders and now some schools and universities are investing in them as a way of keeping patrons or students safe.
It is important to note that anyone who requests that an individual take a breathalyzer test should have a valid and legal reason for doing so. For instance, if an employer has a policy for random drug and alcohol screening in place, it is entirely legal and appropriate for them to use breathalyzer devices. If, however, an individual is a patron of a bar and is being forced to use the breathalyzer test, their rights may be being infringed upon. Additionally, the legality of breathalyzer testing in certain environments can often come into question if used in a conjunction with a legal issue. If an individual were going to be facing legal or financial penalties or the loss of their job due to the results of a breathalyzer test, they would be well advised to seek legal advice.
